How To Be Confident And Love Yourself

Learning how to love yourself and be confident it’s not an easy thing to do. But it’s a must if you want to live the happy life you desire. How can you expect to live a happy and fulfilling life if you’re not happy with yourself?

Sometimes the image you have of yourself it’s not actually true. It’s mostly made up by your limiting beliefs you gathered over the years.

If you’re looking to gain confidence and self esteem you first have to make peace with yourself.

You keep hearing and reading everywhere that you should love yourself but you have no idea how to start? Check out these tips for gaining more confidence, build self esteem and learning to LOVE YOURSELF!

Say I Love You!

You treat others with so much care and you do anything you can to make them happy. But what happens when it comes to you?

How come you treat others so nicely but you’re always hard with yourself? Learn to love, respect and appreciate yourself. Treating your body with love and care and always taking care of yourself should become a daily habit for you.

If you don’t love yourself how can you expect others to do it? How can you expect them to do something that you’re not doing?

Go in front of the mirror, take a good look at yourself. Take as much time as you need. Forgive yourself for any mistakes you’ve made and say “I love you”. YES to yourself!

Make Peace With Yourself

Some time ago I spoke with a friend who told me “I like how I think but I don’t like myself.” When I asked him “why don’t you like yourself?” He said “because of my weaknesses”.

He’s a great guy with a lot of potential but his attitude toward himself drag him down.

The most important thing you must do in life is to be happy with who you are. And happiness won’t come by hating yourself. Focusing on your weaknesses and letting them drag you down it’s not the way to go. You’ll only amplify them.

Learn To Love Your Body

Look… you have this body you live in. A body that keeps you alive every single day. Stop hurting yourself. We all have good parts and not so good ones. Learn to love both and work on improving every day. Work on what you can change!

So you want to lose weight? Well that weight won’t just vanish over night while you’re eating unhealthy food lying down on the couch. Get active!

Stop finding reasons not to do it and limiting yourself. Pick an activity you’d like and do it. Change your eating habits too.

Switch to a healthier lifestyle. Of course it’s much easier to find reasons not to do it, blame it on others, not make a change and continue to feel depressed and miserable but… it’s your choice how you want to spend your life.

You have to want it bad enough to really put some work in. It won’t happen over night. It will take some time but YOU CAN do it!

Be Yourself, The Real YOU!

Stop trying to be someone you’re not, trying to fit in what others think, want or need.  You are unique!

Every day, every moment you keep on searching for validation from others to be something you don’t even like, just to fit in. To feel accepted.

And all of these for people you might not even like and who won’t give a damn about you.

Let your true light sparkle and surround yourself with people who like you for who you really are. And yes! Those wonderful people do exist. But you won’t find them by wasting your time with the ones who drag you down.

How To Always Be Positive and Happy

So you want to learn how to always be positive and happy in life? Let’s face it. It’s not always easy.

Thinking positive won’t keep problems away from you. But, don’t underestimate the power of positive thinking. A positive mindset, if you know how to use it, can be a great tool for improving your life.

Positive thinking it’s not about ignoring reality or the problems and situations in your life. Having a positive mind is actually more realistic than being negative. We often get in our own way by overthinking and complicating things. Soon you lose sight of what’s really important in life.

Problems will always be around, but it’s easier and healthier to deal with them in a positive and productive way. It doesn’t do you any good if you’ll just stay negative about something, constantly thinking bad stuff over and over again and making worst case scenarios.

You’ll end up feeling bad, depressed and unhappy. Definitely not good for your health!

If your thoughts are negative your view on life will also be negative. Problems come and go for everyone. But embracing all with a positive attitude will help you manage difficult situations better.

And not only that you’ll manage things better but, it will help you keep your focus on what’s really  important and not ruin your health stressing out so much.

Positive thinking it’s a mental attitude. It doesn’t grow over night, but with patience and exercise you can manage to face your problems and difficult situations in an optimistic way.

It will help you see the hidden opportunities. You will make better decisions. It will keep you on track and help you take positive actions toward you goals. Each difficult situation you go through can teach you and help you improve and evolve in life.

Focusing on good will always bring you more good into your life.

Listen, doing this thing it’s not going to be easy. Those negative thoughts will try to come out. Especially when going through difficult situations. But you and only you can decide how much you let a difficult situation drag you down. Learn to see the successful outcome of difficult situations. If you give it a chance, positive thinking can seriously change you life!

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could overcome your fear of change? And not only that you won’t be afraid of change anymore but, you’ll also use it to improve your life.

Sounds good? Yes? Then let’s see how you can do it.

Has it ever happened to you to wake up one day and realize your whole world is upside down? In a second your life can change. Just like that. Even a small change can make you feel uncomfortable.

Soon, anxiety and worries jump in. You keep on thinking that if you wouldn’t have taken that decision, that road, that bus, that call, that maybe things would be different, that if…
Thing is… it happened. Dwelling on it won’t change much.

Maybe it was a result of your past actions and it was predictable or it just happened. Unexpectedly! You had no control over it.

So how do you deal with it?

You freak out, get angry, sad, depression soon takes over and you find yourself stuck in that mood. Going through a change in your life can be overwhelming, stressful and hard to accept.

You have a choice in life, you can control your actions and reactions to different things and situations. Our attitude towards problems and difficult situations it’s extremely important because it defines our future.

Change is normal even if you may not want it or like it. Everything changes, the world, nature, technology, you… nothing stays the same. You change over the years, your body, your life, your hopes and dreams, even your mood changes throughout the day.

When something happens that requires us to accept a change we find ourselves having a hard time realizing what happened, why it happened and overcoming that situation.

Learn How To Let Go And Move On Easily

You know that feeling when it’s time to let go and move on but you just don’t want to? When instead of letting go you keep holding on to the past?

There comes a time when you realize that nothing is like it used to be and even though you know deep inside that things will never be the same again…instead of moving on, you hold on to those things like crazy.

You don’t want things to change. It scares you because you’re not used to the new situation, maybe you don’t like it and… it feels safe where you are.

But here’s the thing… some things will never be the same no matter how hard you try and how much you hope and wish for them to stay the same or, go back to the way they used to be.

It’s not your fault, it’s just life. And it’s OK. That’s how things work. They change, they evolve. Even you and your body change all the time. If you can change something, do it. If not, just let it go. Learn the lesson and move on.

Time goes by, things change, people change, life moves on and there is nothing you can do about it. You need to understand that there are things you can’t control in life. You need to detach emotionally from all those things that hold you back. Let go and move on.

Let Go And Move On

Stop living in the past and waste so much time thinking ” what if…”. If everything around you moved on why are you still there?

Holding on to things that don’t exist anymore it’s not the way to live.

Understand that the past can’t be changed, learn from it and find the strength to move on!

Life can be really amazing if only we could just try to see things a little different! Letting go and moving on can be the best thing for you. Don’t shut the door.

Embrace the new! Just be open to new opportunities, take a chance…it might be nothing, it might be something or it might be the ride of your life!

It’s not easy but time flies! What are you going to do about it? Sit in a corner, stuck in the past and all alone wishing and hoping while life goes by? Or move on to the life you deserve to live?

It’s all up to you!
You can’t control everything in your life but you can choose the way you react to each situation! And each choice you make shapes your life.

Learn from your past! Be thankful for everything in your life. Cherish the wonderful memories, forgive if you need to and move on.

Be Yourself And Be Happy

Don’t you just get sick and tired of trying to fit in? It’s not hard to be yourself and be happy. It’s easier than you think.

Looking around I see so many people who are trying  so hard to be someone they’re not just to fit in! Have you lost yourself?

You’re looking down like you’ve lost your hope but what you really want to do is walk like the whole world is yours and you’re in control. You just want to be happy.

And guess what? Only you have the power to make that happen.

I’ve always admired my dance teacher. When she enters the room, the way she walks, the way she looks and her attitude instantly makes everyone look at her. When she smiles and starts talking the atmosphere in the room gets so positive and full of life.

What’s her secret? Well… she’s just being herself. She loves what she’s doing, she loves herself, she’s confident and shows all of these in everything she does.

You know what people say? That attitude is everything? Well they are right. And this includes posture. The way you walk, the way you talk and pretty much every gesture you do… body language.

Having a great attitude and being confident doesn’t mean transforming in something you are not. You don’t just press the confidence button when you need it.

And this is the most important thing. By trying to look more confident some will try to copy and transform into another person. Why would you do that? Be yourself!

Fake it till you make it works most of the times but if it makes you someone you’re not… it’s not ok. It’s like wearing some clothes you don’t feel good in, but you wear them because you think they will make you look better in the eyes of other people.

You are unique! Stand up tall, stay true to yourself. Be spontaneous do what you love and enjoy every day. If you’re feeling happy with who you really are people will see that.

Accept your mistakes. Nobody’s perfect, we all make mistakes and today is a new day! Perfect for a fresh start.

Focus on positive things and move on. And most important… don’t let anyone define you.

Surround yourself with the right people and dismiss the ones who try to limit you. Don’t let criticisms bring you down. It’s your life, your destiny. Take control of your life and spend it the way you want not how others tell you.

Give yourself a day off

I love waking up in the morning breathing the fresh air, looking at the sunrise, planning the day and enjoying it.
Why do you need a day off?

Well…here are a few good reasons:

  • Get away from day to day activities
  • Get away from the stress of your job
  • Have some time just for you
  • Do something you love, something you like and enjoy
  • A day off gives you time to rest and it recharges your batteries
  • An opportunity to get away and meet new people, learn new things, and why not meet new opportunities
  • Spend time with your loved ones ( friends, family, pets…)
  • Relax
  • Do all the things you can’t do while you’re working
  • Come back feeling fresh and full of energy
  • Appreciate the good things around you
  • You deserve it !

How To Be Happy And Enjoy Life The Easy Way

What is your favorite way to enjoy life? What is happiness to you? Seriously… how happy are you? Wouldn’t it be great if you could enjoy life more and live a happier life?

Imagine what it would be like to have more quality time in your life, to be happy and to actually feel that you are living. To live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment of it.

Sadly, today…many people have a stressful life. They lose themselves in those day to day activities and forget to live. I look at people every day and they seem to be too busy to enjoy life. Always wanting more, wishing and dreaming but, always postponing. Does this sound like you?

Some people think that they need lots of money to be happy and some don’t even know how to be happy. They are always searching for happiness in the wrong places. They don’t pay attention to the simple things in life that make them happy.

Sure, happiness means different things for different people but, what if you could bring more joy into your life through some simple steps?

Have you ever seen those people living in the country side? Have you noticed how serene and peaceful they are? They might not have many things but they know how to enjoy the simple things in life. And you know what’s even crazy? Those simple things in life turn up to be the ones that we treasure the most.

To be happy and enjoy life is actually very easy so why not try?

Think positive

I’m sure you’ve heard this lots of times and you probably say it’s easier said than done. But why not try? You have nothing to lose. It’s much better to be positive about things and life in general then not to be.

Look at the bright side of things and maintain a positive attitude.

If you’re angry, upset and negative about life you will never see the good things passing by. See the good part in everything you do, concentrate on the solution and not the problem. Don’t let one bad moment ruin your whole day!

Surround yourself with happiness

Negative people in your life and situations can make you feel unhappy and down. They can ruin your mood and drain your energy.

Find and surround yourself with happy, positive people who lift you up. People who make you laugh, inspire you, care for you and brighten your day.

Simple things that make you happy

You don’t need big or expensive things to be happy. The simple things you do every day can fill your heart with so much joy. Like your child laugh, a walk in the park with your dog, taking dance lessons or going out with your friends.

Play with your kids. Make a snow man if it’s winter. Think you’re too old? Think again! Play with your pet. They always want to play and can bring you so much joy.

Why not visit new places, read a book ( it keeps your mind active ), join as a volunteer …it will make you feel great! Helping others and putting a smile on their face can fill your heart with so much joy.

Learn something new

Don’t limit yourself…learn new things all the time. Is there something you always wanted to learn? Something you like? Like for example gardening. Plants and flowers can bring you so much joy! How about some dance lessons? Not only that you’ll learn new moves and improve your dancing but you’ll also make new friends.

Give yourself a break!

Go away from all that’s stressful in your life. It’s ok to take a break once in a while. Take some time…just for you. Relax, listen some great music, see a sunrise or a sunset and smile! Spend time with people you love and do things that you enjoy. Give yourself a few moments of peace and tranquility every day.

Do what you love

OK, I know what you’re thinking. But, believe it or not…it’s true. If you can do in life what you like then, you’ll be happy. If you don’t like something don’t do it!

I know it’s hard and sometimes you have to do things that you don’t like. If this is your case, try to find something that you like in what you do. At least until you’ll be able to do what you like.

For example if you don’t like your job but you like your colleagues concentrate on this part till you find a better job.

Here is a thing you can do …ask yourself what do you like to do. What makes your heart happy and puts a big smile on your face? Make a list and try to do those things.

What you do every day matters! It can make you happy or unhappy. It’s your choice how it’s going to be.

Stop postponing your happiness. Stop waiting for the perfect day, perfect moment, perfect dress, car, money, house, for summer, for someone else to make you happy. Learn to live in the moment. Start using these simple ways to enjoy life and be happy right now. Focus on the present moment and live life to the fullest.
